moose + mitch

This past week, my delightful Mother sent me a custom cover for my television, as well as matching pillows for the living room:
Thanks, Mom!

Last Friday, I went to a couple gallery openings in Chelsea with some class mates.  We went to see Lucio Fontana and Sterling Ruby's work at the Andrea Rosen Gallery.
Check out info here

From there we traveled to a second gallery, which closed on us by shutting off the lights while we were enjoying the art

After hanging out at The Half King, we made our way to The Frying Pan.
Visiting the site is anti-climactic, so hopefully my evening photo of our view will be better:

Even though where we were sitting was on the dock, and NOT moving, everything around us was bobbing in the water.  I proceeded to get very motion sick, and had to focus on a building in order to function in conversation...if you could say what I was doing was functioning

On Saturday, a small group of us went to see Miami Horror at Brooklyn Bowl.
These guys were a lot of fun, and Jac has us claim spots right up front, which for my, is delightful since I'm so short

This weekend was also 9/11
I spent my afternoon at the MoMA, and tried avoiding any craziness downtown.  Jac and I did make a trip later in the evening to Bryant Park to see an installation: 2,753 empty chairs facing south toward the fallen towers - one to honor each person that died in the attacks
