Pennsylvania is a wide freakin state: The 16 hour drive and getting settled.

Well it's official:  I live in New York.

The trip began a few days ago.  We packed up the car, and surprisingly everything fit!

When we arrived, we received rockstar parking!  Directly out front of the building.  Lucky ducks.

Here I am, super jazzed that we carried all of my stuff up to the fourth floor.

This is Ruth being a pro and putting my furniture together for me.  She's basically a whiz at building any an all IKEA furniture at this point.

My bed pretty much fills up the entire room.  Below I have documented the transformation of my tiny tiny tiny tiny room.

As you can see, space is limited.  All of my clothes fit in my closet, whether hanging, in the bins at the top, or in the plastic drawers on the bottom.  Also, I put clothes and shoes under my bed.

 Yesterday we drove to Brooklyn to go to IKEA, Target and Lowe's.  Here's the Brooklyn Bridge, from the Brooklyn side

We saw this sweet end of the bed thing at IKEA, and I had to have it.

However, it did not work out...

 Caroline came over when the movers moved in the couch, so we went to an AMAZING lunch at Ottomanelli's Cafe

And for all you moochers that want to stay on our couch.  Here it is :)
